Steven Morris
Steven is a Middle School Minister at Champion Forest Baptist Church. He joined the staff in September of 2005.
Steven grew up in the student ministry at Champion Forest and was called to ministry after his junior year of high school. He graduated from Texas A&M University (whoop!) in the spring of 2006 with a degree in finance. He is now enrolled in Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary and is pursing his MDiv. degree.
Steven has been married to his wife Chelsea since January the 6th, 2007. Chelsea shares Steven's heart for ministry, and they area excited about starting their lives and ministries together here at Champion Forest.
Steven desires that every middle school student build the foundation of their life on a personal relationship with Jesus Christ. During the three years of middle school, students make many decisions that help to shape who they are going to be as the grow up. It is crucial for them to establish who they are in Christ during this time.
With the Middle School Ministry, Steven is focused on reaching students for Christ, developing them in their faith, and sending them out to make a difference for Jesus Christ in their world.
